| Guidelines for Participating in the DyersLIST |
| The DyersLIST is an internet mailing list intended for the discussion of technical questions, problems and information related to immersion dyeing and to the surface application of synthetic dyes, textile pigments and related chemicals to fabric and fiber. Please restrict your postings to these topics. |
- Stay on topic, and make sure your replies are of general interest to the group.
- Please indicate the subject of your message in the Subject: line.
- Quote only the most pertinent material from a previous posting, and do so as briefly as possible.
- When you use "Reply" in response to an individual DyersLIST message, your message will go only to the person who posted that message. To send your reply to the list, you will need to address it also to dyerslist@list.emich.edu
- Do not use "Reply" in resonse to a DyersLIST digest, as doing so will send the entire digest to everyone on the list. Instead, start a new message, and copy and paste any necessary context from the message to which you are responding. Then write your message, address it to the DyersLIST, and send it.
- Do not post personal responses to the list, email the person privately instead.
- Please be sure that your postings are formatted in plain text.
- Do NOT use the DyersLIST for commercial purposes.
- Feel free to disagree with others, but please do so politely.
